From the Beginning...

I will start from the beginning. 1 year and about 4 months ago, Me and Tiu had recently on a whim decided that we should sell EVERYTHING we had in FL (including wonderful wedding gifts ...sigh...) and move back to Hawaii. We were in Laie and i was going back to school while Tiu worked a job that paid a meager 13/hr with a commute of 2 hrs to and fro and about $20 a day in gas money! We were renting a small, old, ant infested apartment for about $800 a month. The groceries in HI were almost double the prices in FL and on top of it all I was going to school... You do the math! We were pretty tight. Well on top of all that we somehow decided around 2/08 that we had an absolutely BRILLIANT plan to make money. We decided to start our own business, we would print awesome Polynesian T-shirts and become immediate millionaires. We were 110% sure that we would go huge! We figured it was just a matter of weeks before we would have all the surf shops selling our product. All we needed was a huge chunk of money to start us off. So, we borrowed from every where we could and started Hatana Ink. Our tiny little apt. soon turned into an even tinier ware house. We had over 1,000 T-shirts EVERYWHERE!  We had a big event we were planning for, the 2008 world fireknife competition. It wasn't until around the end of the semester that i started feeling allot of abdominal pain. The pain got to a point where i was struggling to walk. I went to a few doctors and found out that i had really bad endometriosis. They told me that there was a chance i would not be able to have any children. My only hope was surgery, I scheduled the surgery for the first week in June. I was still going to school and struggling to keep up with everything while Tiu was still working. One evening I realized that i hadn't had a visit from my aunt Flo in a while. I figured all part of the endo. but I pulled out a pregnancy test that i had lying around just to check and sure enough it was positive! That day was May 12, 2008 i was already about 6 weeks pregnant. And THAT is where it All began!!!
